Mini Planner Meet
Creative planning can be a lonesome task, sometimes, but it’s a different story when you seek like-minded people. Meeting people face to face is a lot more fun and can even boost your creativity.
I meet my planner sisters from time to time to catch up in person and do some planning sessions. Last Sunday, February 25, I met with planner sisters, Ivy, Mai, and Erra at Craft Coffee Revolution, Solenad. Our first meeting was in December last year at Starbucks Nuvali so I’m already comfortable with them.
It just really feels so good to meet people who share the same interest so I always look forward to attending this kind of events.
I brought my kids, Jazz and Jean, with me, while Mai brought Biba with her. So while we were having fun with our session, the kids also had their own.
Choosing a venue for the meetup doesn’t require so much discussion. We choose wherever is convenient, somewhere spacious so we can move around comfortably. Luckily, we found a nice spot in Craft Coffee Revolution. Side note: The food in the café was so nice! I ordered Carbonara and Choco Choco for myself and Salted Caramel Cake for my kids. *yummy*
Call time was 1pm and the session ended at 4pm, so it was quite a “bitin but sulit” session. I shared how I do mixed media journaling. I also decorated Erra’s TN on the spot. I was a little anxious at first, most especially when the idea of decorating someone else’s planner dawned on me, but I had fun doing it the moment I started. I was just worried she wouldn’t like it, but I truly hoped not. Anyway, what’s done is done. 😀 😀 😀
Every meetup, they have some sort of RAK and I really appreciate their thoughtfulness. Last year, they gave out a lot of stickers, and in the recent meetup, they gave out washi samples. How cool is that?
Next meet up, I’ll make sure to take a lot of photos so I can share them to you guys. I was just so in-the-moment that I forgot to snap some pictures.
I was really happy meeting them all. Hopefully, we can gather a few more planners for a meetup. So for those who are interested and would like to know more about the next meetup, you can message me anytime.
I’m sure there will be more planner meetups! So stay tuned and hope you join us!
